Mails will close (subject to alteration) at the Chief Post OSlice, Xew .Plymouth, as follows: For Wellington and South, also for Auckland and North, daily, per Mail Train, at 6.15 a.m. TUESDAY, AUGUST 23. For United Kingdom (parcel mail only), at 5 p.m. WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 24. For United Kingdom and Continent of Europe (specially addressed only), due London October 6, -via South America, at 0.15 a.m. THURSDAY, AUGUST 25. For Australian States (due Sydney August 30), also United Kingdom, Europe, Eastern and Mediterranean ports (due London October 2), at 6.15 a.m. For Auckland and North, per Rarawa-,-at 7 p.m. SATURDAY, AUGUST 27. For Australian States (via Auckland), due Sydney September -2), at 6i15 a.m. ' IPOST OFFICE RECEIVING BOXES.. On and aft£r September 1, the follow- i ing alterations and, additions will, be made in the clearances of the Post Office receiving boxes in the town. All early morning clearances (except those at Chief Post Office) will be made at 5 o'clock. Additional clearances will be made at noon and 6 p.m. at the Devon and Gover street pillar-box. The afternoon clearance of the Devon and Brougham streets box will bo extended to 3.30 p.m.. Additional 2.30' p.m. clearances will be made at the Cavrington Road Junction box, and at the Dawson 3treet box (opposite Hospital gate). Additional receiving boxes- are to 'be erected at the corner of Liardet and Devon streets, and at the corner of St. iubyn and Weymouth streets. The Chief Post Office clearances remain unaltered.. The next mail! for the United States ind Canada closes Here' on Tuesday, 30th , inst., at 6.15 a.m.. (via Vancouver).
