AUCKLAND DISTRICT SCHEME. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. At a special meeting of the Auckland Cricket Association held this evening, the district scheme was modified, and, under the altered rules, any player Who has played for the same district »yub for five successive cricket seasons, may, if he so desires, play for tliat district for the rest of his cricket career. A provision was added that if after exercising their privilege any player shall play for another club the privilege shall cease to exist.
