MANAWATU HUNT CLUB. The first annual meeting inaugurated by the Manawatu Hunt Club took place at Awapuni in fine weather on Wednesday. There was a good attendance, and seventeen bookmakers were licensed at £7 10s each. Following are the results: Hunters' Hurdles—St. Amelia 1, Canadian 2, Hydroscope 3. Won easily. Time, 3min ssec. Maiden Hack Plate—Vibration 1, The Native 2, Beach 3. Won by two lengths. | Time, lmin 6 4-ssec. Manawatu Hunt Steeple—Flamingo 1, Miss Hippo 2, Commodore 3. Won by several lengths. Time, 7min 3sec. Ladies' Bracelet—Himitangi 1, Leo Grand 2, Chasse 3. Won by three lengths.
