• (HRISTCHXJROH SESSIONS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christokirch, Last Night. lAt the Supreme Court, John Isherwood was convicted of perjury and fined £25. William Duncan Allen, a very old man, was convicted of indecent assault, and sentenced to two years'. DUN'EDJN SESSIONS. •Dunedin, Last Night. At the Supreme Court criminal sittings to-day, Thomas McNlamara and Joseph Francis Donnelly were found guilty of assaulting and robbing James Black, the assault 'being accompanied with violence. Sentence was deferred. The hearing of the charge against 'Ernest Angustin Corley of receiving property, knowing it to be stolen, was not finished when the Court rose. DIVORCE COURT. Auckland, August IS. In the Divorce Court, decrees nisi were granted in the following suits: Kathleen Brown v. Ringi Brown; Maria, Theresa Whorskey v. Patrick Whorskey; George Baker v. Elizabeth Baker; Josephine Rhodes v. George Edwards Rhodes. WELLINGTON SESSIONS. Wellington, Last Night. At the Supreme Court to-day, Catherine Moore, a muddle-aged woman, wa convicted on three charges of. shop lift ing. Sentence was deferred till Satur day. In the case of Thomas Joseph Lloyd ! charged with burglary, the jury failed to agree. Dong Hon, Chinese interpreter, was sentenced to nine months' imprisonment for assault.
