First prize £5 5s and pair of opera glasses; 2nd, £2 10s and tobacco pouch; 3rd, £1 10s. A special of a bag of sugar will be given for the •best open up or ridge of 16 furrows; £1 10s and %-ton of coal will be given for best turn-out in this class. Class 2.-SINGLE FURROW. First prize e £3 and >/ 2 -ton manure; 2nd, " £2 and box tea; 3rd, £1 ss. A 1 special valued at 10s will be given for best ridge of 10 furrows. Class 3.-ISINGLIE FUKKOW (for boys 1 under 18). All teams to be ready to start at 10 o'clock a.m. t 2. Each competitor in single-furrow classes to plough % acre; each competij tor in double furrow class to plough % I acre. 3. Double-furrow ploughs to gather 4 rounds (or 16 furrows), to be the full depth (5 inches) on the third round. 4. Single furrows to gather a ridge of 110 furrows, to be at the full depth (5 I inches) on the fourth round.
5. The time allowed in each class will be 5 hours, or each competitor to be finished by 3 p.m. Anyone exceeding the allotted time will be disqualified. 6. All competitors must finish with a seed or clean up furrow. 7. Should the entries be less than three in any one class, the judges will award such prizes as they deem fit. 8.
