SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegr&nh—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Rev. D. C. Bates' summary and forecast are as follow:—The barometer has been unsteady everywhere, and the winds have backed to northerly in most parts of the country. Showers were experienced in the night, but the day has been generally fine. Present indications are for northerly winds, freshening everywhere. A change in -he •weather is probable generally, and ram may be expected soon. The barometer will probably fall everywhere, and there are indications of the development of Btonn areas from north westerly and northward shortly.
