PRESENTATIONS TO TRAINERS AND JOCKEY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christclmrch, Last Night. Gisborne residents in Christchurch for the Grand National meeting, at a gathering this evening, presented G. Jones, trainer of IFaisano, F. C. Porter, trainer of Te Arai, and W. Young, rider of -both horses, each with a purse of sovereigns and a gold sovereign case; also the trainers with an address expressing gratification with the condition in which the horses were landed at the post. Mr. D. J. Barry, in making the presentation, said the winning of the Grand National double iby horses belonging to Gisborne and tTained there was quite an event in such a comparatively small place as Gisborne.
