In the Assembly, the Premier, Mr. Verran, moved an amendment to the IPublic Entertainment Bill to prevent the Johnson-Jeffries pictures. The first opposer was the AttorneyGeneral. It is unique to have the Premier opposed' by a colleague. Mr. Verran explained that it was not a Cabinet Bill, and it was defeated by twenty votes to eight.
