THE WEATHER.
SUMMARY iND FORECAST. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. following is Rev. -D. C. Bates' summary and forecast:—The barometer has fallen steadily in the south and ivith rising northerly winds showers have fcfllen in parts, and the weather has ■been generally cloudy and hazy. Present indications are for westerly winds, strong to a heavy gale in parts southward of Kawhia and Castle Point, and strong westerly winds further north. The weather will probably be unsettled and stormy, especially in and southward of Cook Strait. The winds will probably veer southerly after 24 hours with Klin in most parts and snow on Tvigher levels.
