SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegranh—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night Following is the Rev. D. C. Bates' weather summary and forecast:—lhe barometer has continued falling steadily in the south, but has remained very high in the north. The weather has been generally hazy, but showery on the West Coast of the South Island on Wednesday night. Northerly winds have freshened in the South Island, but have been light and variable in the North. Present indications are for stormy and wet weather shortly southwards of New Plymouth and Napier, with northerly winds strong 1 to a gale. Hazy conditions are probaible in the North, with moderate to strong easterly winds. The barometer will probably fall everywhere, and slowly in the North, .. '-■> • , ■'"
