TELEGRAPHIC. ARRIVED. Westport, Thursday.—Arrived, at 11 a.m., Koonya, from New Plymouth. Newcastle, Thursday.—'Arrived, Bossuet, from Dunedin. SAILED. Wellington, Thursday.—Sailed, at 12.20 p.m., Tainui, for London. THE RARAWA. The Rarawa arrived from Onehunga yesterday morning with 125 tons of cargo, including 7 tons of manure, 17 tons of cement, 9 tons of sugar, 24 tons of flour, and 100 cases of fruit. THE ROSAMOND. The Rosamond, which arrived from Wellington, Picton and Nelson yesterday, brought 96 tons of cargo, including 970 bags of fertiliser, 100 bags of slag, and 132 sacks of chaff. The vessel also brought 198 goats for Mr. F. W. Oldham, of Mangorei. The Rosamond left after discharging for Onehunga and returns here to-morrow. THE VIGANELLA. Should there be a favorable wind, the Viganella will leave her anchorage about 1 p.m. to-day for Newcastle, where she is to load coal for Arica, Chili. Captain j'Neckel returned from Auckland yesterday with three new seamen, who have signed' on for the trip to Newcastle, for which, it is reported,' they are to be paid £lO each. One of the three sailors who were sent to gaol recently for disobedience has been paid off, and informations laid against three deserters have been withdrawn.
It is probable that the Northern Company's steamer Claymore, which is now being lengthened in Auckland, will resume her running on the West Coast of this island early next month, and will make fortnightly trips between Onehunga and Waitara, via Raglan and Kawhia.
