TAiRANAKI WOOL, SKIN, HIDE AND TALLOW SALE. MR. NEWTON KING'S REPORT.

On Tuesday, August 2,1 held my usual four-weekly sale of above produce. The catalogue comprised 18 bales and 88 sacks of wool, 2932 sheepskins, 17 casks and 55 tins of tallow, 1<378 hides and 402 calfskins. There was a large attendance of buyers, and competition was keen throughout. Wool sold at prices equal to those ruling at my last sale. Prices for sheepskins were firmer, and. all, lines met with a strong .dejnand ; . af; an advance of %d per ife;above 'late 'rates. Ox hides were on a par with last sale.
