Halley, met representative* of the workers and employers in the dairy industry in the Wellington industrial district in an endeavour to adjudicate in the claim by the workers for a new award. The Borough Council and Gonvil and Castlecliff Tramway Board met in conference last evening and arrived at an agreement concerning the extension of ( the present borougfo tram service to the' sea beach.
