BIOGRAPH PICTURES—TO-NIGHT A delightful evening's entertainment is provided nightly at the Theatre Royal by the Biograph Pictures and Orcnestra, the subjects illustrated are ai I bright and interesting and are much I appreciated by patrons. To-night a complete change will be presented. The programme opens with a fine scenic study entitled "Views of Lourdes," the scenes I depicted are of a most beautiful character, "Logging in Norway/'"a fine industrial subject; "The Grand National of 1910," a vivd and realistic reproduction of this world-wide famous sporting event; ".Modem Training," an exceptionally fine bird study beautifully coloured; "The Call and The Way of the Cross" aire fine star drains Irom the studios of the American Biograph and Vitagraph Companies respectively. ¥ A Friend in Need," "A Good Action Rewarded," "A Pretty Dairymaid," "The Outcast's Sarifice," "Mr. Jones, burglar," "Mistaken Identity" and "Am I Mad," are the remaining items of the well arranged and interesting programme. Between the first and second ajwols and again during the second part, Mr. Will Diamond, the eminent actor vocalist, makes his first appearance in New Plymouth im two descriptive songs "How Englishmen Die" and "On the Road to Kimberly." Mr. Diamond has appeared in all the leading metropolitan theatres of Australasia, and is admitted to stand at the head of his profession, with a pleasing, well modulated baritone voice and a natural manner expression. He has become a firm favourite all over the Australian States, and we predict the New Plymouth public will not be behind in giving a hearty welcome to this gifted vocalist.
