THE lONIC'S LIST. "" By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night A large number of settlers for New Zealand arrived by the lonic to-day, there being 311 in the tnird-class alone. Their destinations are: Wellington 83, Auckland GO, Napier 16, Lyttelton 58, Dunedin 37, Westport 14, Greymouth 5, Wahganui 6, New Plymouth 12, Huff 3, Timaru and Gisborne 4 each, Picton, Oamaru and Nelson one each. The Auckland passengers numbered 102, 68 adults and 33 children. Of these, 41 adults and 27 children were nominated by friends in New Zealand. Those Who were approved by the High Commissioner, numbered 28 adults and six children. There wore 30 domestic servaats on board, eight farmers, and two farm labourers; also (but not among the Assisted passengers) carpenters, miners, electrical workers and other tradesmen. The capital brought out by those passengers who have passed the High Commissioner amounted to £53 72 missioner, amounted to' £5327.
