The Annual Horse Parade and Cattle Show of the Royal Agricultural Society was highly successful. The horses entered numbered 858, as compared with 562 last year. Cattle entries fell off from 90 to 42. In thoroughbred stallions Sir Aymer took honors. In Clydesdales several New Zealand exhibitors were successful. In the heavy section for stallions four years or over,' Mr. Shepherd's Pomp was first, and Mr. Mangan's Royal Brown second. In the class for stallions three years and under four, Mr. James Grant's Gladstone was first. For mare, three years or over, Messrs. Caffrey and Murphy's Yip beat all comers. In the active section for stallion of four years or over, Messrs. Caffrey and Murphy, and for three years and over, Mr. [Grant's Sir James secured second.
