AUSTRALIANS AND THEIR GUARANTEE. By Cable.—Press Association —Copyright Received August 8, 10.55 p.m. London, August 8. C. 0. {Jewell, writing in Sporting Life, says that considering the money the Australians made in their short South African tour, when most of them were put up or travelling free or at-greatly reduced rates, the South Africans cannot 'be accused of grasping. The South Africans do not intend to ask Mr. Abe Bailey to foot the bill, feeling that Australians should not expect all the fun and take none of the risk. The trip he regards as definitely off.
