By Cable.—Presis Association.—Copyright London, August 7. out of the dismissal of five officers of the sth Lancers in November, 1907, for inefficiency, and the recent speech of Major Adam, M.P., attacking the Army Council and alleging that the report by Major-General Scobell, Colonel of the sth Lancers, against one of the officers contained deliberate mis-statements, an enquiry by the Army Council exonerated General Scobell.
