(From Our Own Correspondents.) Mr. R. J. Frewin's Matai street property has changed hands, the new owner being Mr. A. Lile. - -- The Hew premises being erected between Messrs. Humphrey's and Frewin's are nearly finished, and . will soon be taken possession of (by Mr. N. Griener. The event of the season in lodge circles, the Druid's annual masquerade ball, took place on Thursday evening, -when a record attendance was assembled. The stage was decorated and furnished with lounges, easy chairs, etc., for the benefit of non-dancers. A large number were present in fancy dress, and the general effect was artistic, the colors 'blending harmoniously in the grand march with which proceedings were opened. Mr. H. Cottier and family supplied the music, and numerous extras were contributed by Mr. J, Sutherland and some lady friends. Mrs. Sutherland had charge of the supper arrangements, which were excellent. To Mr. W". H. Taylor, the energetic secretary, fell the ' lion's share of the work. Inglewood golfers journeyed to New Plymouth on Thursday and tried conclusion with, the Ngainotu Culb. "Nuff siaid." SORBS THAT REFUSE TO HEAL. Sometimes sores are found which refuse to heal up. A smp.ll amount of pus is daily discharged, but the sore itself remains in a stationary condition. It is suffering from weariness, and requires stimulating into activity, otherwise it may become chronic and grow larger. Rexona, the Rapid Healing Ointment,'is particularly applicable to a case of this kind. Mrs. E. Fletcher, 83 Newman street, Newtown, N.S.W., writes: "My little iboy had a terribly sore toe, which prevented' him walking. The sore refused to heal'' for several months, although we tried every remedy we could think of. We at last tried Rexona, and it began to heal at once, and in five or six days there ,was not a mark left." Rexona is sold in triangular pots at Is 6d and 3s. Obtainable at Bullock iind Johnston's, Devon street.
