SMUGGLING IN PORTUGAL.
HIGH OFFICIALS IMPLICATED. By Cable. —Press Association. —Copyright Lisbon, August 4. Smuggling through the arsenal has been long suspected. On Monday night officials discovered carts carrying clothes, old china aud : silks smuggled from Southampton in the Portuguese warship Vulcan. A court-martial is pending. High officials are implicated.
