FAULTY 'SCHOOL BOOKS IN LONDON. Sy Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright Received August 5, 9.30 p.m. v London, August 5. Mr. Coghlan, Agent-General for New South Wales, examined forty books dealing with Australian geography,, in use in the London County Council schools. He reports that the majority are misleading, and convey a very false impression. He considered that it is almost useless to continue the press campaign to advertise Australia while the school books are so defective.
