THE ROSAMOND. The Rosamond left Onehunga for New Plymouth yesterday afternoon and is due here this morning. She bring 333 packages of explosives for the New Plymouth Harbor Board.
THE CORINNA. The 'Corinna is due here to-morrow from southern porte. She will have about 650 tons of cargo, the discharging of which will be proceeded with first thing on Monday morning.
A cable message from Hobart states that the Tonic, from London, arrived there on Thursday night and left for Wellington yesterday. Twenty-sax passengers landed at Hobart and 32.0 are proceeding to Wellington. The Rimu is expected here from Wanganui to-day, and proceeds shortly after arrival to Onehunga, via Kawhia. New Zealand's maritime interests are quite extensive in proportion to ,its population. Excluding the small vessels engaged in river work, there are 441 vessels registered in the Dominion, their aggregate tonnage being 133,852 tons. Upon them are employed 5233 men and boys. ' '.
