(From Our Own Correspondent.; Stratford, Last Night. Mr, A. Evetts has, I understand, sold his property in Rosalind street to Mr. A. Davis.
Dr. and Mrs. Paget left to-day on a holiday trip to the South Island. Dr. McKmght is acting as Dr. Paget's locum tenens.
Last night the Rev. H. IA. Favell was presented with a handsome engraved photo, of the choir and lay readers ty the lay readers, and with a small dressing case and gold cross by the members of the choir.
The East Road Sheep Dog Trials wil be held at on August 19. Mr. Hills, who recently purchased Ift. Woisin's property on York road, bag made an exchange with Mr. Sandhotyß of Wellington, for his house in the Eafr pire City. I understand that Mr. C. Diamonds who has purchased Mrs. CNeilPa interest in the Stratford Club Hotel, taksl possession in a few weeks.
