The New South Wales drink bill last year was £5,317,682, equal to £3 5s per head of the population—a decrease of 2s Id per head, as compared with the previous year. NEW SOUTH WALES REVENUE. I Sydney, August 1. Archdeacon Boyce submits a statement showing that the drink bill decreased £45,900 last year. He attributes the decrease to restrictive legislation.
