Mr. Coghlan, in another letter to the Standard, says that Mr. .Foster Fraser did his ibest, but his book was written under conditions tending to inaccuracy and superfieiality. Recent measurements prove it almost certain that the third generation will be physically superior to the second, fle concludes: "Australians have shortcomings and limitations., but hold fast to the gospel of hard work."
