Wellington, Saturday.—Sailed, at 9.30 a.m., Orari, for London. THE ROSAMOND. The Rosamond arrived from Onehunga on Saturday morning, and after loading 41 tons of cargo, including 903 boxes of butter, left for Wellington. NEW PLYMOUTH HARBOR; A notice in the last Gazette states that the New Plymouth Harbor Board has notified that the dredge Paritutu will shortly commence work in and about the fairway of the port, and the following signals will be shown as an indication to vessels entering or leaving the port to pass on that side of the dredge on which they are shown:—Day-time: Two black Ibalis, in a vertical line one over the other; night-time: Two red lights, in a vertical line one over the other. ■N REPORT OF A SHIP. ,News received by mail-confirms, the report of the, wreck of the fine Noiw&giJtfl j ship Winnipeg. Advices state that she was 'bound from Table Bay to Bunbury, where she was under charter to load jar, rah, and was under orders to call at Kerguelen en route to land a big number of barrels. How the disaster occurred is not definitely, stated, but it appears as if she were driven ashore during heavy weather, and soon 'became a total loss. However, 18 of the crew reached land saMy, and after undergoing, terrible privations "were picked up iby the schooner Jeanne d'Arc, and brought to Durban. Upon arrival ,tihere the survivors were placed on board the s.s. Edinburgh Castle, en route to East London, where they iwould change for another ship to be sent back to Norway, but on the way up tne South African coaist one of them jumped overboard, and was not sighted again.
