THE KING'S OATH.
"NO POPERY" DEMONSTRATION. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright London, July 28. The Protestant Truth Society has entered a protest against the new oath, on the ground' that It does not provide against mental reservation or Papal dispensation, and is merely on parallel lines to the oaths taken by Charles 11. and James 11., both of which proved ineffective. Members of the society marched in procession to Downing -Street and cried "No Popery." The police stopped them.
