GEORGE HARLOW'S DRAMATIC CO. "AS MIDNIGHT CHIMES." On Wednesday next, August 3, George Harlow's well-known dramatic company will make their re-appearance at the Theatre, Royal, Xew Plymouth. The company has just concluded record seasons in Auckland, Wellington and Dunedin. The play with which the company will be seen hei'e is the successful drama, "As Midnight Chimes." The Sydney Referee, in referring to the company's opening in Sydney, just before it came to Xew Zealand, said this: "One of the most remarkable sights for some time was witnessed on Saturday eventing on the occasion of the opening of the George •Mar-low's dramatic company. The reports that have preceded the company of the opening production, 'Married to the Wrong Man,' prepared the people of Syd'ney for something unusually good in the melodrama line, and judging by the enthusiasm of the packed house, they were nott disappointed. Early in the afternoon peopJe commenced to sit on the gallery stair*,, and .stall entrances were, thronged and the doors were opened shortly after six o'clock, and a little after seven o'clock the house was filled. So no late croor tickets were sold for_ any part of the house." This record business continued for eleven, weeks l and the same thing happened oni the occasion of the seasons in Wellington, Dunedin and Christchureh.. The box plans will be opened on Saturday next at Collier's Music Warehouse, whereseats may be reserved, and patrons would, be well advised to book or secure tickets early so as toavoid disappointment. Day sale tickets may also be obtained at Collier's. Prices- are, 4s. 2s 6d and Is. Xo early doors. : - ...
