Qualification for Hunters—Races 1, 2, 4, 6, and 7 are deemed to be for horses that have been regularly hunted with a recognised pack of hounds, and the Master's certificate for the season 1910 must be produced at the scales. ' Gentlemen riders only in races 1, 2, 4, 6, and 7. ' . Emergency riders' licenses may be issued on day of races (fee ss) for these events. Definition of a Hack.—A hack is a horse which has not at any time prior to time of entry of nomination won a race of the -value of 100 sovs to the winner, or races of the aggregate value of 250 sovs to the winner. Scratehings.— Ml persona intending to withdraw horses are required to give notice to that effect to the Secretary onejhalf-hour before the official time for starting the race. Any person negleetinc or refusing to comply ■jvith this rule shall pay a fine, to be imposed by the Stewards, not exceeding.2o sovs, to the Race Fund.
