SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Pres? Association. Wellington, Last Night. Following is the Rev. D. C. Bates' weather summary and forecast: The barometer has risen slowly in the south, SdA remained steady in the north. The weather has been cold and changeable, passing showers being experienced' in many parts of the country. Moderate to strong southerly winds have pre- . vailed. Present indications are for a rising barometer everywhere; shortly ttpect cool and changeable weather, fair prevailing, and the nights frosty in parts. Moderate southerly winds are probable generally.
