Narratives published in the papers describe Crippen's clerical appearance, and state that the supposed son is good-look-ing, though of an effeminate type. The make-up of the pseudo father and son suffered somewhat after the first few hours at sea. Detective Dew hasi sailed for Canada in the steamer Laurientic. In the event of the fugitives' arrest the extradition procedure will be unnecessary. Both would reach England prior to tie resumption of the inquest on 15th August.
