A London cable states that the Sovereigns are proceedings to Portsmouth on a week's cruise. The Kin<* and Queen will pay an informal visit" to the fleet dockyard.
Messrs. J. B. Connett, Newton King and E. Maxwell, who were a deputation from the New Plymouth Harbor Board to the Minister of Marine upon the provisions of the Harbors Bill, returned to New Plymouth last night.
Messrs. C. Carter and D. Berrv. members of the Taranaki Petroleum Company's deputation to Wellington, returned ' to New Plymouth last night. Mr. C. E. Bellringer staved the night at Stratford.
