Forty Scottish Commoners of both parties, after hearing a deputation from the Scottish Church and Knox Club, Edinburgh, unanimously resolved to urge the Government to reconsider the terms proposed for the accession declaration. < Several speakers declared that Scotland was thoroughly roused against altering the sense of the old declaration, however willing Scotland was to remove the offensive expression.
