RAILWAY CONSTRUCTION.

The contractors for the construction of the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway intimate that it is impossible to finish the mountain section in reasonable time without additional labor. The Government contemplates allowing workmen of any nationality accustomed to such work to assist. The contractors oirer two and a-quar-ter to three dollars a day, but heretofore have only obtained sixteen hundred men, instead of five thousand required.
