There is much indignation in shipping circles at a JRussian gunboat seizing the trawler Onward Ho in latitude (53.38 N„ longitude 41.44 E. The Russian captain contended that the White Sea was an inland water. Sir, Edward Grey intervened, and the trawler was released.
