Hawera, Last Night. Tn reference to the question of the proposed direct representation of the Locomotive Engine Drivers, Firemen, and Cleaners' Association on the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants, the Hawera hn-nch of the L.E.F.C. Association passed the following resolution: "This branch (representing flii per cent, of the locomotive stall' of Hawera). being of opinion that the move is antagonistic to the progress or the association, strongly protests against such suggestion, and earnestly urges all locomotive men to refrain fritm voting on the question."
