The cost of establishing wireless stations at Fiji, Ocean Island, the Solomons, and the New Hebrides by the Federal Government is estimated at £42,000. The Commonwealth lias adopted the recommendation of the Wireless Conference that to permit private control of wireless telegraphy would be inexpedient.
