DUKE OF CONNAUGHT'S ESCORT

A FLOTILLA OF DREADNOUGHTS. AUSTRALIA'S SUGGESTED INCLUSION. . By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright Received July 15, 11.30 p.m. London, July 15.

Lord Brassey, in a letter to the Times, urges the Government to furnish the Duke of Connaught with an escort of Dreadnought cruisers upon his visit to South Africa. It was unnecessary to enlarge upon the political consideration of the voyage. A powerful squadron visiting Australia' would mean credit for the navy, and enlarge the recently unduly limited experience of the younger officers.
