SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Pres? Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Rev. D. C. Bates' weather summary and forecast is as follows:—The larometer rose slightly in the North during Wednesday night, and the winds were generally moderate and variable. Rain has fallen in many parts, and especially on the East Coast of the Übrth Island. Present indications are for cloudy and unsettled weather, and rain is probable, generally with a further fall in the barometer, which is likely to continue low and unsteady until about Monday evening, when a southerly may be expected.
