LORD ISLINGTON IN AUCKLAND

A BUSY DAY. By Telegraph. —Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. This morning His Excellency the Governor, Lord Is.ington, visited the Training College and the Normal School, and addressed the students on the importance of good education. This afternoon he was shown over the Mental Hospital, and on his way back he visited the Point Chevalier School. Subsequently His Excellency drove out to the Veterans' Home, which has always had the sympathy of the King's representative since it was founded by Lord Ranfurly. His Excellency left this evening by the Main Trunk express. He is to again visit Auckland on the fifteenth of next month to open the Winter Show of the Auckland A. and P. Association.
