RUSSO-JAPANESE AGREEMENT
PROBABLE RESULTS. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright London, July 8. German and Austrian newspapers consider the Russo-Japanese agreement relieves Russia from the fear of conflict in the East, and that it will tempt her to withdraw troops from Asia in order to recover her prominence in Europe.
FRENCH PRESS APPROVAL. Received July 11, 12.35 a.m. Paris, July 9. The French Press welcomes the RussoJapanese agreement, as it deals a blow to the Pan-German idea of a coalition against the yellow Taces.
