A large deputation of members of Parliament interviewed the Prime Minister =' to-day to urge amendments to the Old Age Pensions Act. . Sir J. 0. Ward said he intended to submit legislation this session. There should ■ . be an exemption of .£OO accumulated savings at a bank. As to different rulings by .magistrates, the points in doubt should bo placed beyond doubt by legislation. He would be pleased to reduce from 05 to (10 years the age limit for women if it could be done.
