THE RIMU. The Rimu, which was to have arrived here' yesterday from Onehunga and Kawhia, has been detained at Manakau iby bad weather and will not reach New Plymouth till later in the week. THE TAKAPUNA. The Takapuna, which is due here early this morning from Onehunga, has 117 tons of general cargo and 200 ft of timber, besides a couple of horses. THE ROSAMOND. The Rosamond left Nelson at noon yesterday for New Plymouth and should arrive early this morning. She will have a cargo of 142 tons. i

A cable published in yesterday morning's issue announced the departure from London of the steamers Empire Transport and the Muritai. The former vessel is a new F.H.S. liner and the latter a new vessel for the Tyser Line. ,
