White's sale opened on Friday, and throughout the day the store was alive with eager purchasers. Especially was this so in the showroom where the ladies' coats and hats are stocked. Here are to be found just those nice garments that are requisite for present wear. The quality is good in every case, and prices are iii many cases half those ruling at the commencement of the season. Todav a special display is being made of coats at 10s lid, 12s 6d, 17s Od, and 21s each. These are made in really smart tweeds and cloths, trimmed with covered buttons and strapped—Advt.
