STRATFORD DAY BY DAY.
(From Our Own Correspondent). Stratford, Saturday Night. On Thursday Mr. W. Reid, second son of Mr. A. W. Reid, of Stratford, was married to Miss Fanny Eliza Rojgers, fourth daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Rogers, of Pembroke road. The wedding was celebrated at the residence of the bride's parents. Mr. W. Hall-Jonas, son of the High Commissioner, and who has been on tihe survey staff of the Stratford-Ongarue railway, has been transferred to the staff on the Gisborne-Karaka railway. Mn E. Hemingway, town clerk, left by this morning's mail train for Wellington, where lie will act as delegate for the local Borough Council at the Municipal Conference. Mr. J. Jackson, of Strathmore, has received word that his lambs' wool realised lid per lb at the May sale 3.
