USE OF PUNIHO SCHOOL PROPERTY.

! To the Editor. I -Sir, —As a parent and also one send jing children to the above school, I ' strongly protest against the same beI ing used tor purposes such as last Tuesday night, namely, dancing and a sendloff. The principle in itself might not be wrong, but when rowdyism, drinking and fighting are associated, then it is surely time to, draw the line. I am also quite confident that the chairman of the committee would not sanction the school being used in suon a manner, and it was no doubt thruugh the tact and judgment of Mr. M. Hill, one of the committee who happened to be on the spot, that, practically singlehanded, he quelled 'the lighting, winch probably might .have had a serious ending. I think all parents should object in justice to their children. Thanking you in anticipation,—l am, etc., PARENT.
