STRATFORD DAY BY DAY.
(From Our Own Correspondent). Stratford, Last Night. Properties around Stratford still continue \to change binds. Mr. H. Woisin •has sold his farm on York Road, and has purchased Mr. Hill's property of 10 acres on Flint Road. Mr. F. Allen nas disposed of his property on Denbigh road to Mrs Case}'. The committee of the Stratford A. and P. Association paid a visit to the new show grounds yesterday- afternoon in order to ascertain which were the most suitable sites for the yards, grand stand and other buildings.
Mr. and Mrs. Peter Hancock, of Mountain Road, are leaving at the end of this month on a trip to the Old Country. They propose visiting Soutli Africa .on their wa,y home,
' A charge of assault against a Chinaman was allowed to be withdrawn by the Court this morning, the defendant having made suitable amends. Negotiations are proceeding between the Stratford Golf Club and the Stratford Racing Club for a lease of the racecourse as golf links.
