THE BARAWA. __ , The Rarawa, which, arrived from Onehunga yesterday morning, brought 90 tons of cargo, including 10 tons of sugar, 17 tons of cement, 3 tons of flour, 8 tons of manure, and 70 cases of fruit. The Rarawa, on her return to Onehunga, wil withdraw for overhaul, the Takapuna talcing up her running. / THE ROSAMOND. The Rosamond, from Wellington, Picton and Kelson, arrived here yesterday morning with 96 tons of cargo. She left for Onehunga at 2.30 .p.m. and returns here to-morrow. An unexpected difficulty (says the Wan?anui Chronicle) has arisen in connection with the wharf at the south spit, which is steadily silting up on account of a sandbank forming along one part of the mole. This in no way affects the works; in fact, is .possibly helping them; but the large stone punts are now practically unable to lie the full length of the wharf, and this causes some difficulty in unloading operations.
