FLOODS W PELORUS VALLEY. By Telegraph-r-Press Association. Blenheim, Wednesday. •Heavy rain on iind Tuesday caused, a bisr flood in the Pelorus, vallev. A considerable amount of stork has been lost. AlfreVt Creek bridge, Rai Vallev, lias been washed away, and the coach service between Blenheim and Nelson has been interrunted. The weather now I shows signs of abating. BRIDGES WASHED AWAY. Blenheim. Last Nurht. Floods at Pelorus washed nwav a portion of two bridges over the Pelorus river on Brownlee and Go.'s tramline, which is covered with debris.
