J. Hastie, and 8 steerage. ' THE "ROSAMOND. The Rosamond left Nelson at noon yesterday for New Plymouth and should arrive here at an early hour this morning. She will have about 100 tons of cargo to discharge here. TE ANAU DELAYED. The Te Anau has been delayed in the South and is not now expected here till Saturday. .THE TAKAPUNA. The Takapuna is expected to leave Wellington to-morrow for Onehunga direct to take up the Rarawa's running. She will arrive here on Monday and- will continue .in the service for about a fortnight, when the Rarawa's overhaul should be completed.
THE LAUDERDALE. | The Lauderdale, which has been wrecked near Greymouth, and has been definitely abandoned, was first 'known as.the 1 Cairntoul. When the Union Co. purchased the vessel , her name was changed to Taieri,,and as such she was well known in the coastal trade. About two years ago the Maoriland Steamship Company purchased her from the Union ■ Company, and her name was then changed to Lauderdale. Several wrecks have previously occurred at Greymouth. The tug Lioness was totally wretked when entering the harbor some years ago, and the Hesketh and the Taupo were both wrecked there. The Mapourika went ashore on September, JB9B, hut was re-launched in the following year. The Hawea was totally wrecked when leaving Greymouth for Australian ports in October, 1908.
